Litorina divests Ateljé Margaretha

Ateljé Margaretha (”AM”), a leading distance retail business with five niche brands in the Nordics, is divested to private investors and management in AM, who remain owners.

When Litorina acquired AM, it consisted of one brand focused on craft and embroidery products. During Litorina´s holding period AM has more than doubled its revenues and broadened its business through organic growth and acquisitions. Today, the company consists of four additional brands focused on women in the upper middle-ages: Åshild, women’s wear and support shapewear; Good Living, health products; Knitting Room, knitting products;  and Linea, home decoration and textile products. During the holding period AM has also expanded its offering to all Nordic countries and invested in a web platform for all brands.

In addition the divestment of AM results in a positive return to Litorina’s investors”, says Jörgen Ekberg.
