CarpetVista has since it was founded in 2005 by Hossein Sadr and Ludvig Friberger grown to become a global leading online retailer of high-quality carpets with sales in over 50 countries. The Swedish private equity company Litorina, through the fund Litorina IV, became the new majority owner in December 2015 and has together with the founders continued to develop the company. As a natural next step in the company’s development, the board of directors has appointed Thomas Keifer as the new CEO with the target to continue to strengthen CarpetVista’s leading position internationally and focus on securing the company’s long-term profitable growth potential.
Thomas has previous CEO experience from a number of fast-growing companies with a focus on retail and IT businesses. In addition to being CEO of Kjell & Company during the years 2008 to 2011 and 2013 to 2016, Thomas has been CEO of the HVAC & electrical wholesaler Solar Sweden, the listed company MultiQ as well as WM Data Owell (later name changed to Atea).
Thomas will assume his role as CEO of CarpetVista on the 3rd of April. He will take over the CEO position from the founder Hossein Sadr who in connection with the transition will leave his operative role in the company and move into an advisory role and remain as a member of the board of directors of the company.
