Stockholm based private equity fund, Litorina Kapital announces the sale of portfolio company Sensistor, a leading company within industrial leak detection and industrial leak testing products and expertise, to Alcatel Vacuum Technology. Alcatel is the leading supplier of Analytical Leak Detection Instruments, Vacuum Solutions and Industrial Applications. Sensistor will, through its unique hydrogen sensor based products, significantly strengthen Alcatel Vacuum Technology’s product portfolio at the same time as the company will get access to Alcatel’s global sales and distribution network.
Since Litorina’s investment in year 2000, Sensistor has achieved 24% annual revenue growth with increasing profitability. The company’s focus has been on organic growth through the establishments of subsidiaries and achieving greater global reach through expanding the distribution network. In addition, Sensistor has focused its resources on research & development.
