Litorina Kapital acquires PAX Electro Products, the leading manufacturer of domestic fans in the Nordic region. Litorina Kapital will own 75% of the company and the remaining parts will be owned by PAX Electro Products's previous ownerfamilies, as well as the company's future chairman of the board, Johan Boheman, MD Gustavsberg.
PAX Electro Products was established as a fan producer in 1959 and has since the early 1970s had a its main focus on developing and producing domestic fans. Today PAX Electro Products has a market leading position in the Nordic market within domestic fans, with a market share of 65% in Sweden and 50% in Norway and Finland . In recent years PAX has expanded its product range to vents, towel rails and oil-filled radiators. The Company has successfully grown outside the Nordic market, e.g. in Russia and Japan and is expected to generate a revenue of MSEK 90 in 2005 with high profitability.
PAX Electro Products has been growing with approx. 20% p.a. during the last couple of years. The growth has primarily been generated through continued solid growth for PAX fans in the Nordic region, growth in the other product areas as well as through one minor acquisition.
